I cannot believe Term 3 is nearly over, only two weeks to go until all boarders are safely home with their families.
End of Term
Please advise us as soon as possible of end of term travel plans for your child if you have not already. A reminder that the term will finish at 3:10pm on Thursday 12 September. Please note, the QGSSSA Athletics Championship is being held on this day with all students expected to be in attendance.
If you require the Nudgee Bus Service to Goondiwindi stopping via Toowoomba, please view the attached flyer for booking details. This service operates on boarder travel day on Friday 13 September, and will depart Nudgee College at 9:30am. We are happy to drop your child to Nudgee College if you are utilising this service.
Friends of Boarding Meeting
Thank you to our wonderful parents who joined the Friends of Boarding meeting on Tuesday evening. I appreciate the open discussions and feedback. Our co-ordinator, Kylee Easton, will pass on our fundraising initiatives at next week’s P&F meeting.
Student Free Day
A reminder that tomorrow, Friday 30 August is a student-free day.
What’s Happening this Weekend
This weekend is slightly longer due to Friday’s student free day. It will be quieter due to Year 11 and 12 studying for exams and other years completing assignments. Year 9 will also be preparing for their outdoor education experience from next Tuesday through to Friday.
