Happy Father's Day

Father’s Day is  the perfect time to honor the incredible dads and male role models in our community. Whether they’ve been a guiding light, a source of endless support, or simply a great friend, our fathers and special friends deserve to be celebrated this Father's Day.

We wish our father's and father figures dear to us a very special day and we thank them for the vital role they play in the lives of our children by their everyday acts of love, support, care and understanding. On Father's Day we hope you do get to relax and know how important and precious you are.

On Friday 30 August at St Francis de Sales, we had our annual Father's Day breakfast. For the first time it was held in our new hall and it was a great success. It was wonderful to see father's and children relaxing together in our garden and hall. It was great to have so many able to enjoy a scrumptious bacon and egg roll prepared by our P&F.

Thanks to the members of the P&F who were up early to get breakfast ready and organised the Father's Day raffle and stall. It is a BIG day for our hard working P&F team and we greatly appreciate all that they do for our school community.

The children enjoyed their shopping trip to select a special gift. I hope you enjoy their gift especially selected just for you.

MACSSIS 2024

Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools – School Improvement Surveys (MACSSIS) are conducted annually for schools in the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne. This year’s MACSSIS window is from Monday 2 September to Friday 20 September 2024.

This data tells us about what different people in a school community think and feel about their learning environment. We encourage our families to participate in this confidential feedback. As a school we evaluate and adjust and change our plans informed by data we gather. MACSSIS data is a key source on information that informs our school improvement and our 2025 Annual Action plans.
