Messages from the Front Office

Acknowledgement to country

We at Marangaroo Primary school

Would like to say thank you to the Noongar people of the Wadjuk country.

For letting us share this land:

We promise to look after,

The land, the animals, and our people.

Car Park Safety

Recently we have had near miss incidents in both the Golf Course car park and the Staff car park. Fortunately no one was injured in either event, however when cars and pedestrians interact there is potential for a serious incident to occur.  We ask all vehicle users of the Golf Course car park to exercise caution when driving through the area, remembering that parents and students are commuting through that area to their vehicles.

With regard to the Staff Car Park, Parents are NOT to park in this car park for drop off or pick ups. You are to use the parking on Addington Way, the Golf Course car park or utilise the horseshoe kiss and ride.

We also ask that when commuting on foot with students you DO NOT cut through the Staff car park, but instead use the designated footpaths.

Kindy 2025 Enrolments

We are now accepting enrolments for Kindy 2025. This is children with birthdates between 1 July 2020 and 30 June 2021.

Please collect an enrolment pack from the front office at any time. We do request that for planning purposes all applications for enrolment are returned to the front office by week 5 of Term 3.

Student Mobile Phone Policy

This is a reminder that the Education Department has a policy relating to students having mobile phones in schools. At MPS we require students to hand their phones into the front office each morning and they can be collected after the final siren. If your child is bringing a phone to school, then please remind them that they are required to hand them in to the office for safe keeping during the day.
