Indonesian

Preps have been very excited to begin learning Indonesian this term and have been busy learning many new words. Each week they have been practising saying ‘Hello’ (Selamat siang) and ‘Good bye’ (Sampai jumpa!) to myself and each other. They have learnt how to answer ‘What’s your name? and ‘How are you feeling?’ 

Year 3 and 4 studen have also resumed Indonesian lessons this term which they started with some revision and practise of previously learned words and phrases. They have been looking at Indonesia’s participation in the Olympics and making comparisons with Australia. They were very excited to watch Indonesia receive their first gold medal in speed climbing!

All classes are learning about Indonesia’s celebration of their Independence
