All Strung Out!
We have been looking at the Instruments of the Orchestra this term, and in particular the violin and cello. Students have learned parts of the violin and interesting facts too. Did you know that the bow of the violin has horsehair on it?
Our students have learned how to hold the violin and cello and have been working playing the D and A string nicely. The cello is bigger than our Preps! We have been reading music for these strings, and some students have even gone ahead of others to be able to play “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”. As aways, our students are ALL stars!
