Book Week

This is one of the best weeks we have at school! 

From Grandparent’s Morning and Book Fair to our Book Parade there is so much going. 

It was terrific to see so many grandparents in and around the school on Monday morning with our students showing them around to all the different locations! 

The Book Parade was (again) the highlight of the week.  Thanks to all who demonstrated their creativity and imagination to find amazing costumes. Mr B has once again proven he remains the benchmark for the teacher costumes! 

Thanks to Ms Soutar for the organization that went into the entire week! 

School Uniform

Just a reminder that Beleza now have our new jackets and new beanies available for purchase.  As of 2025 these will be the only jackets and beanies that can be worn at school.  I appreciate School Council’s work to include these new items for the colder months into our uniform!

Thanks to Michelle Kilby and the PFA for running another “pop up” second hand uniform stall last week. These have been incredibly successful and appreciated by parents.  They happen once a term and are a great way to get a few extras for the wardrobe! 

Parking

I am receiving numerous emails of complaint regarding LPS parent’s parking.  This includes body corporates stating cars are parking across driveways and parking illegally in the side streets.  I do know the council have been notified and I would hate for any of our parents to get booked.  Please utilise our drop off zone in the morning and pick up zone in the afternoon or parking at the church and walk up is another option. Everyone’s patience is appreciated at these times. 

NAPLAN 2024
