EHS Celebrates Wear it Purple Day

Last week, on Friday 30 August Harmony Club members and Ms Gaylard organised a celebration for Wear it Purple Day.

Wear It Purple strives to foster supportive, safe, empowering and inclusive environments for young people.

Thanks to all those who came to take a photo, create a chalk mural and show their support by grabbing a purple ribbon or pronoun badge. Harmony Club really appreciates your support in making Eltham High an inclusive community where all feel welcome.

Food Hampers and Breakfast Program Available

We have a limited number of food hampers available, which can be picked up by families who may need them at the school on a regular basis.

The School Breakfast Club Program seeks to address the impact disadvantage can have on education outcomes by offering free and healthy food for students and families. Please contact Anna or Lynn on 9430 5111 or at anna.jenkins@education.vic.gov.au to request these food hampers.

The Breakfast Program also offers breakfast to any students every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 8:10 – 8:40am in Room 413. Fruit and healthy snacks can also be provided to students in Wellbeing, Additional Needs and Sub-schools at recess and lunchtimes, as required.
