VET Hospitality

Year 12 VET Hospitality

The Year 12 VET Hospitality students have worked hard this year to complete the requirements for their industry placement. At school they have catered for staff and families at several events to apply their culinary skills and knowledge and work under realistic industry pressure. In industry, students find placement opportunities to extend their learning and gain valuable experience throughout the year. All these work shifts are compiled into a portfolio of evidence which contributes to their ATAR score and the successful completion of the Certificate II of cookery.

This week the VET students completed their last function at school for the year cooking for our Eltham High School Swim team who eagerly consumed a hot cooked breakfast.

I congratulate this group for displaying great employability skills while cooking and serving with love and passion. I am very proud of you all and wish you all the best for your future adventures.

Well done, team!
