Special Examination Arrangements for Unit 3 & 4 Students in 2026

Year 11 & 12 Families

Dear Families,

As we begin the 2026 academic year, we would like to remind families of Year 11 and 12 students undertaking a Unit 3 & 4 subject that they may be eligible to apply for Special Examination Arrangements (SEA) for VCE external assessments.

Special Examination Arrangements are approved by VCAA for students with a disability, illness, or other circumstances that may affect their ability to access VCE external assessments. These arrangements are designed to ensure that all students have a fair and equitable opportunity to demonstrate their learning.

At the college, the SEA process is coordinated by GOAL Mentors and the VCE Coordinator with the support of families. This includes collecting relevant documentation and submitting applications as required.

For Current Year 12 Students

Any student who received Special Examination Arrangements for a Unit 3 & 4 exam in 2025 will have these arrangements rolled over into 2026.

No action is required from families in these cases.

For Families New to This Process
