Second Week of Lent

I spend a few minutes in the presence of God:

Lord, give me eyes to see your presence in all people.

Lord, open my ears to listen to you.

Lord, enliven me with hope so that I don’t fall into despair.

Lord, send me peace so that I may be your instrument.

Lord, help me become aware of your love so that I may carry your compassion. 

Lord, kindle my faith so that I may experience the fullness of joy in your presence. Ultimately, Lord, make me come alive!

School Prayer

God our Father,

Bless our school of St John’s, So that we may love you more.

Watch over and protect us, our families, our friends and our sacred earth.

Lord, guide us on our journey as we try to be the best we can be.

Keep us safe from harm, healthy in life and loving to all those we meet each day.

We make our prayer through Christ Our Lord

Class Mass

This Friday's Year 1/2 Class Mass has been cancelled due to a funeral.

Family Mass

Our Family Mass will be celebrated on Saturday the 16th of March at 6 pm in St John's Church. A letter will be sent home shortly about ministries that children may like to participate in.

Casserole Bank

Each year we set up a casserole bank to help out families within our school and wider community when needed. If you are happy to be part of this, we send home aluminium containers and we ask that you fill them with a dish. This can be anything that is able to be frozen. In the past, we have had lasagne, fried rice, bolognaise, zucchini slice and casseroles as an example.
