Year 7 Swimming
Safety drills, treading water, floating and team building water sports. A great day for the pool!
North West Swimming
Our representative swimmers attended the North West swimming trials in Armidale on 12 March. Well done to everyone, you looked great & swam well.
Basketball Clinic
Lauren King from basketball NSW came & delivered basketball clinics at our school on 13 March. Basketball skills & games were played by years 7-10 with lots of smiles & fun had by all. This opportunity was provided to our students through a sporting school grant. A huge thank you to Lauren, Basketball NSW & sporting schools.
New England Winter Trials
Our girls competed in the New England winter trials in Inverell on 18 March in soccer & netball. Congratulations to Ellie Merchant, Olivia Merchant & Jasmine Finnerty who made it through to the North West trials in Armidale. Well done to everyone for playing well, thank you to Mrs Cooper for taking them.
Our Rugby League boys had success at the New England winter trials also. The following students were selected in the New England teams U15 Jaylan, Toby & Axel. Open RL Phelix, Darcy & Xavier. Congratulations, these students will now participate in the North West trials in Armidale on Thursday 11 April.
Touch Football
Bryce & Maddie attended Northwest touch football trials in Inverell. Congratulations to Maddie on your selection in the Northwest Open Touch football team. Maddie will play in Sydney 3-5 June.
Soccer
Our U15 girls played Inverell High School on Monday 25 March. Congratulations to Tenterfield High School who won the game 6-0.
The weather wasn't great for the Bill Turner Cup on Wednesday 26 March. The boys played well in the conditions & enjoyed themself but were beaten 15-0.
