Selamat siang, Foundation Families!

This week in Mathematics, students explored patterns and shape using a range of hands on manipulatives. We named and described familiar two-dimensional shapes which we used to help create patterns later in the week. Students used their strength of creativity to make and describe a variety of patterns based on colour, shape, size etc and identified patterns in the world around us. What patterns can you find in your home?

Throughout the year, we welcome parents and carers to help in the classroom and assist with a variety of events, such as the Perceptual Motor Program (PMP), excursions, Cross Country, Colour Fun Run etc. Volunteers are required to hold a current Working With Childrens Check and the card needs to be shown to administration at the office. If you would like to assist within the classroom, please contact your child's classroom teacher via Sentral.
