We are in the process of reviewing and updating Mount Pleasant Road OSHClub's service philosophy. Any suggestions or feedback around what you would like us to focus on while developing/updating the Service Philosophy will definitely help us to cater to Mount Pleasant Road Primary school families. Please find the attached Service philosophy which is in place at this stage.
This week children have been creating their own puzzle along with our popular snack squad cooking activities and being creative builders. It is good to witness children being responsible whether it is around serving snacks in the afternoon or working on our reflection journal display at the end of the day. Children are encouraged to choose cards from adventure boxes for their learning experience at OSH which are displayed on the office door if anyone would like to know more. Our new reward chart has motivated children to take ownership of the program by going above and beyond with packing and tidying up, being helpful to our little preps and much more. Most of the children have got their portfolio books to keep their art work in one space.
Being SunSmart
As the weather warms up, our afternoon program begins to move outdoors more often. As school hats generally need to be kept in classroom tubs, please make sure your child has a spare sun smart hat for OSHClub in their school bag. We have Cancer Council and Coles sunscreen on hand but children are welcome to bring their own if they wish. Hats and sunscreen will be worn when the UV rating is at 3 or above.
Drop off/Pick up
Parents/ guardians are required to sign children in for Rise and Shine sessions and sign children out of Stay and Play sessions using the service iPad. Please ensure you are coming to the room when dropping your children to Rise then Shine or holiday program. Please do not let them walk by themselves.

Please note: CRN numbers and all birth dates must be entered correctly if you wish to claim the Child Care Subsidy. CCS applications are submitted automatically to Centrelink when new enrolments are actioned.
RE: Important pricing update from Term 1, 2024
On behalf of everyone at OSHClub we’d like to extend a warm thank you for trusting us to
provide outside school hours programs and holiday programs for your family, in partnership with Mount Pleasant Road community. We deeply value the relationship we are building with your family and look forward to continuing to deliver enriching and great fun outside school hours programs for everyone.
From Term 1, 2024 we will be introducing a new flexible pricing structure that will give families a choice of three booking options that offer flexibility when you need it or, a more affordable rate when you don’t. These options are detailed below, and are inclusive of a small fee increase on our 2023 pricing:

In line with industry standards, we will also modify two fee conditions from Term 1, 2024 as
follows:
- Non-notified absence fee – The service must be notified (ideally via the parent portal) if your child will not be attending an afternoon session. Failure to provide notice will mean the service delivery team cease other duties until your child is located or accounted for and may result in a call to emergency services. If the service is not notified of your child’s absence prior to the Stay and Play session start time a $20 fee will be charged to your account.
- Late pick up fee – If your child is not picked up before the official closing time of the service, a $20 per 15-minute fee will be automatically applied to your account.
We understand that unforeseen circumstances can occur and are available to discuss payment options and provide concessions where possible.
