Aussie of the Month

For the month of February the value was Fairness.

Playing by the rules: Fairness means playing by the rules and treating others the way you want to be treated. You can ask them how they would feel if someone broke the rules while playing a game.

Treating others with respect: Fairness also means treating people according to their needs, which does not always mean it will be equal. It’s important to understand fairness is different from equality, which means treating everyone exactly the same.

Helping others: Helping others who may be struggling or in need of assistance. Fairness means treating others with kindness and empathy.

Being honest: Honesty is an important part of fairness, being truthful and transparent in your actions and words.

Being open-minded: Fairness also means being open-minded and accepting of others, regardless of their background or identity.

Congratulations to Leroy who received February's Aussie of Month for demonstrating fairness.
