Good for Kids - Good for Life

The Good for Kids, Good for Life program is designed to support Early Childhood Education and Care services and Schools to promote healthy eating and physical activity to the children of our community. The Good for Kids team has worked in the Hunter New England health area since 2005 and are based at the population health unit. Good for Kids supports the NSW Ministry of Health’s Live life Well @ School and Munch and Move programs.

The below attachments provide relevant information for our school community on healthy eating, physical activity and limiting screen time.

School Uniform

The children have looked amazing coming in their school uniform this term.  We have had a change to the normal uniform routine with the girls participating in the Women in Sport Program, but as a rule a normal week for us will be:

Monday & Tuesday - summer formal uniform

Wednesday - sport uniform

Thursday & Friday - summer formal uniform

The wearing of a school uniform, promotes a sense of belonging for students and creates a positive identity for the school community. School uniforms also contribute to the personal safety of students by allowing easier recognition of students inside the school and in the community.

We thank parents for their support in ensuring that their children continue to come to school in uniform.
