Welcome!

Steve Venour - Head of  Secondary

Two weeks in and hopefully the dust has started to settle on the rhythms of a new school year. As I write, the Year 7s are on camp, taking with them a smorgasbord of shared wondering, nerves, excitement, and anticipation. It is our prayer that they connect with friends and enjoy their experiences, encounter God and grow that little bit in confidence, about who they are and what they can do.

Whilst wellbeing and learning are inextricably linked, we do, as Term 1 progresses, bring learning routines more to the fore. If you haven’t yet done so, have a look at our Impact Experiences Portal which highlights all our co-curricular activities. The pages display easy-to-read guides of each activity, who can participate, when they are run, what skills they develop and who to connect with for more information. There are also links to external sites for competitions and more detail.

This year we have two exciting new opportunities for student involvement - Drama club and our inaugural School Magazine. The Portal can be found here: Impact Learning, and students can ‘express interest’ if they want to find out more.
