Student Welbeing
Pride Flag Raising Ceremony
We are excited to extend to you a warm invitation to join us for a significant event in our school community – the Pride Flag Raising Ceremony – this coming Friday 23rd February 10am – 11am.
The raising of a Pride Flag at Eltham High School is an important symbol of support and solidarity with our diverse and student body and wider community.
Aligned with our school values of Individuality, Social Responsibility, Respect for Diversity, and Integrity, we are proud to celebrate and honour the LGBTQ+ community in our school and beyond.
The Pride Flag Raising Ceremony is not just a symbolic gesture, but a powerful statement of our commitment to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all individuals, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. It is an opportunity for us to stand together in solidarity, to acknowledge the struggles and triumphs of the LGBTQ+ community, and to reaffirm our shared values of acceptance and respect.
We encourage parents carers and students to attend this small but significant event and to help us foster a culture of inclusivity, respect and equality at our school.
We look forward to seeing you there!
