NAPLAN

The National Assessment Program—Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) is a nationwide assessment for all students in years 3, 5, 7, and 9. This year, the assessment period will be from Wednesday, March 13th, to Monday, March 25th. Students will undertake assessments in Writing, Reading, Mathematics, and Language Conventions. The tests have been timetabled throughout the testing period and catch up sessions will take place should your child miss an assessment. Results will be released later in the year and a copy of your child’s report will be mailed to you.

If you have any questions about NAPLAN please contact the college.

I had the pleasure of celebrating International Women's Day this week with an invitation to the Primary Sector morning tea. This year's theme is 'Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress,' which aims to tackle economic disempowerment. The official International Women's Day is celebrated this year on 8 March, focusing on recognizing women's social, economic, cultural, and political achievements. So, I would like to give a huge shout-out to all the women and the people in our community who invest in women.
