Road Safety Around Schools

NSW Police are currently enforcing School and Bus Zone compliance around schools. 

The penalties for stopping in a School Bus Zone are 2 Demerit points and a $423 fine.

Park in Goldsmith Street, the southern end of the pedestrian crossing in Bourke Street or Clifford Street where your child can safely exit the vehicle and walk around on the footpath to the front entrance of the school.
