Keep Australia Beautiful

Every August, for over 50 years, Keep Australia Beautiful have been educating Australians about litter, waste and other key environmental issues throughout KABWeek. During this week they aim to engage and challenge the community, while encouraging long term change behaviour that can be adopted well after the week is done. Starting in 1966, Keep Australia Beautiful was our nation’s first anti-litter campaigner and sustainability advocate. Since then, it has been working to raise awareness on how we can all live more sustainably. The Climate Canons hosted The Golden Rubbish Hunt and The 1min Pick Up Pieces Challenge to commemorate Keep Australia Beautiful Week 2025. Well done to all the students who go involved, special mention to Siena Mouttet (Yr 8) who got the fastest record of 40 secs to fill up her bag of rubbish!
