Year 7

Welcome Back to Term 3!

Term 3 is off to a flying start, and our Year 7 students have well and truly hit the ground running—literally! They recently took part in their very first Athletics Carnival, where the energy was electric. From competitive races to novelty events, participation was outstanding, and the enthusiastic cheering for classmates was a wonderful display of true Saint Norbert spirit.

A group of keen mathematicians proudly represented the College in the Australian Mathematics Competition—an invaluable opportunity to stretch their problem-solving skills and boost their academic confidence. Year 7s also joined the Lower School Benediction, sharing in a meaningful moment of reflection with the junior cohort.

As part of NAIDOC Week, all students attended a Noongar Language class, gaining a deeper appreciation of the rich linguistic and cultural heritage of the Noongar people. It was both an inspiring and educational experience.

Looking ahead, there’s plenty to be excited about! Sign-ups for the Improve Bootcamp 2025—perfect for those wanting to sharpen their Drama skills—will be opening soon. Homework Club continues each week, offering extra support with classwork, assignments, and assessment preparation.

The Catholic Performing Arts Festival is now in full swing, with many talented Year 7 students representing the College. Later this term, they’ll reconnect with their Year 11 Buddies for a Peer Support Session—a fun and valuable morning of mentoring and teamwork.

We’re looking forward to a vibrant and rewarding second half of the term!
