Wider Community

Bob Stewart Uniform Shop - We are pleased to be able to offer appointments for the fitting of uniforms.

Bookings are limited to one 20 minute time slot per student.  Please book a separate appointment for each student.  There are several appointments for each time slot so we will try to accommodate siblings at the same time.

Uniforms can also be fitted without an appointment during normal trading hours.

Bob Stewart offers parents peace of mind if they wish to purchase the uniform early.

As long the items are unworn, with the original receipt, and that they have their tags attached, they can be exchanged up to the start of the school year.

PLEASE NOTE: APPOINTMENTS ARE NOT TAKEN IN JANUARY.  YOU ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND THE STORE AT YOUR CONVENIENCE.

The Store is open Monday – Thursday 9:30am – 5:00pm and Saturday 9:00am – 1:00pm (Closed on Public Holidays and from 24th December 2025, returning 5th January 2026)

 Spanish and Chinese collections for the new Southbank Library

To help meet the future needs of Southbank’s growing community, we are opening a new, expanded library at Boyd Village and refreshing the existing Boyd Community Hub. We are introducing a Spanish book collection and updating the existing Chinese book collection at the new Southbank Library. To make the collections relevant and useful, let us know what kind of books you like to borrow. Surveys close on 30 November 2025.

 New green open space in ACCA forecourt

The new forecourt, which is supported by the Victorian Government through the Better Parks and Playgrounds Program and the Community Support Fund, will offer respite and connection for the whole community with over 800sqm of new greening. We’re getting on with the job of turning this underused space into something Southbank locals have been asking for. The greening project will deliver upgraded planting, lawn and seating while still allowing the area to continue its role as a space for creative events and activations. We expect that greening works will begin in early 2026 and be complete by mid-2026.

South Melbourne Primary School offers the option of lunch orders through our on-line partner School24.  Orders must be placed no later than 9am.
