2026 Prep Enrolments

If you are intending on your child commencing Prep next year at South Melbourne Primary School, we are now accepting Enrolment Applications! We request that the Enrolment Forms and supporting documents are dropped off to Kirsty or Emma in the office as soon as possible - even if you verbally let us know now about a sibling planning on commencing Prep next year so that we may begin our planning of classes and staffing for 2026.

Enrolment forms and the process can be found on our website. If you require any further information on enrolling your child, please do not hesitate to drop into the office, call on 9935 9399 or e-mail at south.melbourne.ps@education.vic.gov.au and we will happily answer your queries.

SMPS Enrolment Form

Leaving SMPS? Moving House? Moving Overseas? Visa Expiring?

If you have any intentions to unfortunately leave SMPS in the next few months, please let the school office know. Your decision doesn't need to be confirmed and doesn't mean your child loses their spot if you change your mind, but giving us a heads up is very helpful. This information is vital for the school to budget and plan for staffing in 2026. We don't want any children to be placed in classes that are too big or only have a few students, but this relies on us knowing who will be here. If you suspect you may be moving house, travelling overseas or you know your visa is expiring, please inform the school via email: south.melbourne.ps@education.vic.gov.au.

Letting us know if advance will also assist the school in following up on devices and if you wish to buy them out or not.
