Book Week Celebrations – Year 9 & Junior School

As part of Book Week celebrations last week, 16 of our Year 9 students volunteered their time to share the joy of reading with our Junior School community. Each student selected a picture book of their choice and read it to small groups of Junior School students. This wonderful activity brought smiles, laughter, and plenty of excitement as our youngest learners engaged with stories brought to life by their older peers.

The experience was thoroughly enjoyed by both groups, with Junior School students captivated by the stories and Year 9s embracing the opportunity to connect across year levels. Our Year 9 students demonstrated maturity, kindness, and enthusiasm, and we are incredibly proud of the way they represented themselves and our College.
