Book Week 2025

Book Week 2025 - A Celebration of Stories
Book Week was once again a highlight on the school calendar, and this year’s events did not disappoint. Across the Junior, Middle and Senior Schools, students immersed themselves in the magic of storytelling, creativity and imagination through a variety of engaging activities.
Junior School
Our youngest learners enjoyed visits from a wonderful line-up of authors, including Patrick Guest (Prep and Year 1), Alex Miles (Year 2), Emma Bowd (Year 3) and Martin Chatterton (Year 4).
The much-loved Book Week Costume Parade also returned, with students dressing as their favourite book characters and bringing stories to life.
Middle School
Students celebrated with a lively Dance Party and Dress Up Day, filling the campus with colour, music and fun.
They also took part in an inspiring Author Assembly with poet and speaker Solli Raphael.
Year 9
Year 9 students shared their love of reading by visiting Junior School classrooms to read with younger students. This created a wonderful opportunity for connection across year levels.
Senior School
Senior School students heard author George Green share his powerful life story, highlighting themes of journey, redemption and faith
The highlight was the annual Book Week Dress Up Day and Costume Competition, with students from all year levels dressing as their favourite book characters and raising $570 for Shepherdson College to support literacy programs.
Together, these activities showcased the joy and power of reading, while also strengthening connections across our school community. Book Week 2025 was a wonderful celebration of stories that will continue to inspire students long after the week has ended.
