Learning Behaviour Reports and Student Learning Conferences

As we begin Semester 2, 2025, we would like to provide families with important information regarding Learning Behaviour Reports and the upcoming Student Learning Conferences.

Learning Behaviour Reports

Learning Behaviour Reports (LBRs) for students in Years 7–11 will be available from Thursday, 28 August via SPACE.

Please note that Year 12 students will not receive an LBR this term, as they recently completed their Student Learning Conferences in early August.

This round of reports builds on those from Term 1. While Term 1 provided an initial snapshot of learning behaviours and attitudes, the Term 3 reports highlight how students have responded to earlier feedback and demonstrate their growth in independence and responsibility.

Benefits of Accessing Learning Behaviour Reports

  • Gain a clear understanding of your child’s current learning behaviours and study habits.
  • Compare progress with Term 1 to recognise growth and identify areas needing attention.
  • Support your child in setting goals for the final term of the year.
  • Stay informed about learning behaviours that support academic achievement.

Reports will be available through SPACE. For assistance, please refer to the following links:

copies are available upon request through the College Office (03 5990 7777).

Student Learning Conferences

Student Learning Conferences (SLCs) for Years 7–11 will be held in early September. Families may choose either an online or onsite option:

  • Online (Microsoft Teams): Wednesday, 4 September, 4.00 – 6.00 pm

  • Onsite (Face-to-Face): Monday, 8 September, 2.30 – 8.30 pm

Bookings will close at 2.30 pm on Wednesday, 3 September. Families are encouraged to book early to secure preferred times.

Benefits of Student Learning Conferences

  • Provide an opportunity for students, teachers, and families to discuss progress together.

  • Allow students to reflect on their learning and take greater ownership of their academic journey.

  • Identify strengths and challenges while setting clear goals for the remainder of the year.

  • Strengthen the partnership between home and school in supporting student achievement.

Should you encounter any issues, the College Office is available to assist.

Your continued involvement in your child’s learning journey makes a significant difference. We look forward to connecting with many families during the upcoming Student Learning Conferences and celebrating the progress students have made throughout 2025.
