2025 Book of the Year Awards – Notables - The Children’s Book Council of Australia


Community Understanding and Safety Training

RNPS Staff underwent Community Understanding and Safety Training (CUST).

 

The training empowers school staff to foster culturally inclusive environments that enhance Koorie students' wellbeing.

 

As part of the training, RNPS was given a grant to purchase Indigenous resources for our school.

Book Club Issue 2 OUT NOW!!

 

Book Club catalogues will come home this afternoon or you can view online following this LINK or the below attachment.

 

LOOP ORDERS are due back by EOD Thursday 20th March.

 

*Note for Issue 2: 

Suzanne Collins' phenomenal fifth book, Sunrise on the Reaping, is part of a global release with an international embargo. The title will be released in Australia at 12:01 AM on March 19th, 2025. Once this embargo has lifted, we will send out all orders. Thank you for your patience. 

 

Step-by-step Ordering:

  1. Select the Issue from which you'd like to order.

  2. Select a class from your Book Club Ordering Group.

  3. Add or Select a student (Remember: you only need to add students AS they place orders).

  4. Check that the student name and class are displayed below the Issue number in the aqua bar before entering the item number

  5. (Note that all data is automatically saved - there is no need to press SUBMIT to keep the data).

  6. Enter the book item number from the Book Club catalogue.

  7. Enter the student's payment method (will only appear if ordering by student).

  8. Add or Select the next student and class after each order.

  9. If you need to leave mid-order, select Exit Order. When you're ready to resume, go to Open Orders to recommence.

  10. At the end of the entire order, select Next.

  11. Reconciliations on your Order Review may be displayed by Title, Club, Class or Student.

  12. Select Next or Spend Vouchers / Rewards to apply these against your total due.

  13. Payment information will then be presented.

  14. Select Credit Card.

Alternativley, you can drop in to the office on a Tuesday, Thursday or Friday to see Elle. *Any items used to cover/repair books are supplied by the school.
