World Wildlife Day

On World Wildlife Day (3rd March) Anya, Sanu and Amy hosted a wildlife activity at lunch time. A lot of kids came and did wildlife-based puzzles and made a lot of paper animal masks. We looked closely at endangered animals and coloured masks. The masks were very popular as they could pretend to be the endangered animals themselves. We had a lot of different kids from different ages come and participate. We hosted this to teach kids the importance of animals and endangered species. On World Wildlife Day we want to teach kids to keep the environment safe for all animals and plants, this includes not littering and picking up any rubbish they see. We are happy to go to a school that cares so much about the environment. We are so happy that day brought happy smiles from the kids. We hope they all enjoyed themselves because we were happy to host this for the children of Park Ridge. We hope to do more like this for the children.
