New PFA Committee
We had our Annual General Meeting on the 4th of March and we are very pleased to let you know the new PFA Office Bearers that were agreed upon:

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Andy Gregory (stepping down President) and Mikkel Mynster (departing Communications Liaison) for their commitment and dedication to the PFA. We are very grateful for the support and contributions you have made to our school community.
We also want to say a big thank you to our new office bearers for taking on the roles. We look forward to another year in the wonderful Woodend Primary School PFA!
Bunnings Sausage Sizzle Fundraiser - Sunday 16th March, Sunbury
The PFA is excited to coordinate a Bunnings Sausage Sizzle in March! We think this will be a wonderful fundraiser for the school.

If you have children who would like to assist, Bunnings allow people between the age of 13 & 17 to assist with handling money, taking orders and serving food, just no cooking.
If you aren’t able to help out on the day, why not schedule a Bunnings run this Sunday and come and buy a sausage! We would love to say hi!

Colour Run - Wednesday 2nd April.
The PFA is very excited to coordinate our first WPS colour run! The colour run will form part of the school's annual Lapathon, as we thought it would be wonderful to include something new (and colourful!).
The colour run component will be an opt-in element for students that want to run, get colourful, and have a fantastic time. Parents, please don’t worry, we have made sure the colour is safe and toxin-free. Students are encouraged to wear a white t-shirt to show they want to be covered in colour and ensure that wonderful colour is on display! If students would like to run, but do not want colour on them, please support them to wear a black t-shirt so we know they are running colour-free.
Miss Mann will again be organising a sausage sizzle on the day to energise and celebrate a beautiful afternoon. Lapathon times will be advised closer to the day and Sausage orders will be available soon via QKR.
Spring bulbs are back - orders close soon!
The hugely popular Tesselaar spring bulb fundraiser is back for another year. Jump onto the website using the special link, make your purchase, and 40% of the money will go to the school - plus, your garden will look amazing! Orders close Friday 4 April. Easter Raffle
The PFA is once again running the ever-popular annual Easter Raffle! Tickets available on QKR! - $2 each, or 3 tickets for $5. Get in quick - only 3 weeks to buy tickets. What a fantastic opportunity to start getting into the Easter spirit, and support our school community! Ticket sales close on March 28th. Raffle drawn April 1st.
WPS Parents and Friends Association (PFA) Monthly Meeting
Calling all families - we would love to welcome you to our Parents and Friends committee. We are a friendly bunch of parents who meet monthly to arrange school fundraising activities and social events and would love you to join us.
Our next meeting is on Tuesday the 1st of April, 7.30pm at Holgate Brewery. We would love to welcome you as we continue to plan some fantastic events for the 2025 school year. Hope to see you there!
