Principal's Message

Mrs Kaileen Carr

Here we are in Week 6 the term is flying. Please ensure you keep an eye on the school calendar as there are numerous PSSA sporting activities, NAPLAN, Fancy Hat Parade, ANZAC Assembly and Grandparents Day all happening before the end of term.

It has come to our attention that students are bringing Pokemon cards to school and are buying and selling them. Please ensure you speak to your child/children about this. We are more than happy for the students to bring the cards to school at this point, but under no circumstances are they to buy or sell them. Also remind your child/children if they bring them to school, they are their responsibility, not the responsibility of the staff. I always say if you love it, leave it at home!

We are experiencing a spike in negative student behavior. Some of our concerns are non- compliance and being impolite to other students and staff. Please remind your child/children to report anything to staff as soon as possible that is making them feel uncomfortable or feel unsafe. I thank those parents who have already contacted the school and I assure you that your concerns are being dealt with.

Student Behaviour Code - NSW public schools are committed to providing safe, supportive, and responsive learning environments for everyone across a range of settings. We teach and model the inclusive and safe behaviours we value in our students. Please read the attached document and share it with your child/children.
