AFL 9s Girls Gala Day.
On March 7th, the Grade 6 girls had the opportunity to participate in the IDSSA AFL 9s Gala Day. From all accounts, it was a day filled with excitement and fun, with all students enjoying and learning about the game of AFL 9s. A big thank you to Megan for leading training sessions during lunch and coaching the girls on the day. I would also like to acknowledge the parents and guardians for their support in making this day possible by transporting students to and from the event. Division Swimming Championships
Last Thursday, 14 students represented APS and the Ivanhoe District at the Banyule Division Swimming Championships. I would like to congratulate all the students who participated in the relay teams and individual events. You gave it your all, and it was incredible to hear about your experiences. Thank-you to Shane, for supporting students on the day and thank you to the parents and guardians who transported students to and from the event. I would also like to give a special thanks to those who drove to and from Marysville ensuring the Grade 6’s had the opportunity to compete in this competition. Your support was essential and truly appreciated.
