Students can study Human Resources through a few Deakin degrees including:

 

  • The Bachelor of Human Resource Management (Psychology) course explores the human mind in a business context.  Graduates will perform key functions in human resources roles, from recruitment and workplace negotiations to creating high-performance environments.

     

    Graduates of this course are ready to take on highly coveted roles such as a Human Resources Professional, Organisational Development Consultant, or an Employee Relations Officer.

     

  • The Bachelor of Commerce offers a well-recognised qualification that is a pathway into a Human Resource Management accreditation. Students will get a taste of professional life and get job-ready through work integrated learning and experiential learning programs.

     

    The Human Resources Management major within this course enables students to apply for Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) membership. The skills developed and AHRI accreditation will allow students to pursue careers such as a Human Resources Professional, Training and Development Adviser, or a Workplace Diversity Manager.

     

  • The Bachelor of Businessequips students with the skills and experience needed to succeed in the business world.  Students can study majors such as people managementorganisational psychology, or recruitment and talent acquisition.  Students learn to solve practical business challenges, explore innovative and emerging business trends, and prepare for the nuances of international business relationships.
