Japanese Update

2025 Term One Japanese Newsletter

Konnichiwa! Genki desu ka? We have had an exciting and enriching time celebrating Japanese culture this term!

Throughout Term One, hands-on activities played an essential role in making learning of Nihongo fun and enjoyable. From crafting paper dolls for Hinamatsuri (Dolls Festival on March 3rd) to collaborating on the Year of the Snake (Hebi Doshi) classroom display, the students showed immense enthusiasm in all their activities. Their smiles and excitement were the best proof of how much they love learning about Japan's language and culture. Here is a snippet of the amazing work our students are producing in Nihongo!
