Early Literacy Program for Mums and Children Under 5 years old
In the Community Room. For mums with children under 5 years old. Learn practical tips to help your children develop their language skills and thrive while growing up confidently bilingual.
WEDNESDAY

Sing and Grow
We know that some families missed out. Play Matters is the organisation that run this program and they will keep you on the waiting list. There are spaces at the Cranbourne West location if you are able to travel there. You can use the email address provided to make an enquiry - singandgrowcranbourne@playmatters.org.au

Stitch & Connect
Join us for 6-weeks of Knitting and Crochet every Friday starting on the 14th August. We would like to invite you to come and join us regardless of skill level, all are welcome. We have some talented helpers who will support you to learn a new craft and enjoy meeting new people in a safe and warm environment.
Breakfast Club
Breakfast Club runs on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 8.15am to 8.35am.
Our Cooking Club for Year 5 students cook on Thursday at recess. They share what they make at Friday Breakfast Club.

Easy flapjacks recipe
Ingredients
- 140g butter, chopped
- 80ml (1/3 cup) golden syrup
- 80g (1/2 cup, lightly packed) brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups (225g) rolled oats
- 1 Cup of Muesli
Instructions
Preheat oven to 180C.
- Step 1
Combine butter, golden syrup and sugar in a large saucepan and stir over medium-low heat until butter has melted or place in microwave proof bowl and microwave on high for one minute and stir. Add the oats and muesli and stir until well combined.
- Step 2
Spread the oat mixture over the base of the prepared pan. Use the back of a spoon to smooth the surface.
Bake for 20 minutes or until the edges are golden. Set aside to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. While still warm, score into 12 rectangles. Set aside to cool completely.

THE ORANGE DOOR | SUPPORT FOR FAMILIES
At Ramlegh Park Primary School, the safety and wellbeing of our students and families is very important to us.
The Orange Door is a free service that supports families with concerns around parenting, relationships, child wellbeing and family violence. Families do not need a referral and can contact The Orange Door directly for advice and support.
The Orange Door can help connect families with services such as counselling, parenting support, accommodation, financial assistance and legal help.
Families can visit their local Orange Door in person from Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm. No appointment is needed.
