Term 3
This week, students completed an assessment of the soccer skills that they have been developing in the soccer unit so far this term. Throughout the unit, they have developed fundamental movement skills and specific techniques.
The students were assessed at four stations: dribbling, passing, shooting, and trapping. Their assessment criteria were the same criteria that they have been told to develop throughout the unit, including dribbling with both the inside and the outside of the foot, passing with the inside of the foot, taking a step back before shooting, and trapping the ball with the inside of the foot.
Some classes even had time to finish their lesson with an all-in soccer game!
On Monday 24 August, Carlingford West had a team of around 70 students represent our school at the Castle Hill Zone Athletics Carnival. More results to come, please enjoy the photos below!
