Wishing Our Tournament of Minds Teams the Best of Luck!

This weekend, we are thrilled to have two teams representing our school in Tournament of Minds at UNSW. Their creativity, teamwork, and dedication throughout the preparation have been inspiring to witness. The competition challenges students to think deeply and work together to solve problems creatively, and our teams have risen to this challenge with true enthusiasm.

Regardless of the outcome, every participant has already achieved so much. They’ve developed new skills, supported each other, and demonstrated incredible perseverance. We’re so proud of how each team has embraced the spirit of innovation and collaboration.

Good Luck, Year 6 Maths Olympiad Team!

We are incredibly proud of our Year 6 Maths Olympiad team, who are one of only ten teams in Australia still in the running for the prestigious Primary Team of the Year award.

Their achievement in reaching this stage is a testament to their hard work, perseverance, and passion for mathematics.

Good luck to our Year 6 participants, as you take on this exciting final challenge in the next couple of weeks! Remember to enjoy the experience, trust your skills, and celebrate how far you’ve come.

Science Week - Year 2

Year 2 students celebrated National Science Week with the theme "Seeds of Science: nurturing science for all." Throughout the week, students enjoyed making paper planes, straw rockets and exploring light reflection using water. Each activity gave students a chance to try new things and see how science works in everyday life.

Everyone worked together, asked lots of questions, and had fun experimenting. It was wonderful to see students’ curiosity and teamwork as they learned about flight, colours and light. Science Week was a great way to nurture a love for science and discovery in all our Year 2 students!
