Book Week Parades 

On Friday 28th August families are invited to our K - 2 Book Week parades. Please join us on in the School Hall at the following times. 

Kindy Parade - 9.30 am

Year 1 Parade - 10.00 am

Year 2 Parade - 10.30 am

Years 3 to 6 are also invited to dress up and parades will be held throughout the day for the students.

Students are invited to wear a costume depicting their favourite book character or any dress up they have. Please make sure clothing is suitable for a day at school. (Closed in shoes and no masks or face covering).

Positive Behaviour for Learning

Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) is an evidence-based framework that brings together the whole-school community to contribute to developing a positive, safe and supportive learning culture. The framework assists schools to improve social, emotional, behavioural and academic outcomes for children and young people.

Positive Behaviour for learning encourages;

• A reduction in inappropriate behaviour
• An increased time focused on instruction
• Improvement in social-emotional wellbeing
• Positive and respectful relationships among students
• Effective responses to to student needs

• A predictable learning environment where staff and students know what is expected to deliver effective practices that can be sustained over time.

   

So far we have explicitly taught our students our expectations for The Field. 

This week we move onto our expectations for behaviour in bathrooms. 

School Photos 2026

School photos for 2026 will take place on 6 different days, 5 days in Term 1 and 1 day in Term 3. 

Students will be photographed in their class/activity groups and individually for portrait photos. Parents may also choose their child/ren to be photographed with their siblings who also attend the school.

Photos will be available for purchase in various packs. 

Please take note of the dates for various photos.
