Pi Day

π for a Pie day
International Pi Day is celebrated on March 14 every year around the world.
Pi is a special IRRATIONAL NUMBER, a decimal number that does not terminate.
In fact, no one has found the end of this special number yet…..
On Monday 16th March KSC year 7-12 students took part in our annual challenge to
remember and recite Pi to 25 decimal places or more.
Any student who could do this received a pie voucher for a hot meat or apple pie. They redeemed their voucher at lunchtime on Friday.
Congratulations to all students who participated. Particular congratulations to the following students who could remember 25 or more decimal places of Pi!
