Welcome back to Term Two!

I hope everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable holiday break filled with great stories and adventures. Whether you travelled somewhere new or stayed at home, reading can take you anywhere and I would love to hear about the books and stories you discovered over the holidays. Come and share your favourites with me when you visit the library!

A friendly reminder that the Premier’s Reading Challenge is well underway. This is a fantastic opportunity to explore new authors, genres, and series while working towards your reading goal. Remember to log your books online regularly so your progress is up to date. If you need help choosing books for the challenge, look out for the coloured stickers on the spine of the books, Red stickers (K-2 Challenge), Green stickers (3-4 Challenge) and Purple stickers (5-6 Challenge) or alternatively, I am always happy to recommend something just right for you.

All students are warmly invited to visit the library during recess Monday through to Thursday. It is a perfect time to relax, read, and enjoy some quiet space during the busy school day. Students in Years 4, 5 and 6 are encouraged to borrow new books, return any books that you have finished reading, and discover exciting new arrivals on our shelves. There are plenty of great options waiting for you to explore.

I am looking forward to a wonderful term of reading and cannot wait to see you all in the library.

Happy reading!

Warm regards
