Linda Buckeridge: Principal
Week 3 is the beginning of our triennial review. There will be three onsite days where a panel that consists of an independent reviewer, Senior Education Improvement Leader, two school principal challenge partners and our School Council President, spend time learning about our school. They will undertake classroom observations, attend feedback forums with staff, students and community members and spend time looking through documentation and evidence to see what has been happening at Hillsmeade since 2021 (the last review year). Once the revision part has taken place and they have a current reality of where Hillsmeade is at, the panel then assists the leadership team to construct goals and targets for the next three years, which will become our whole school strategic plan.
We are really looking forward to working with the review panel, learning from them and listening to their feedback to help us plan forward.
I will update the community further once the process has been completed and we have a clear vision moving forward.
A big thank you to our families who have been able to participate in the feedback sessions!

Hillsmeade will celebrate Book Week with a whole school parade and open morning on MONDAY 18th August.
Each year I am more and more impressed with the costumes our students, families and staff create. I look forward to seeing what this year brings!!
A friendly reminder that students are not required at school on Wednesday 13th August.
TeamKids will be offering OSHC on that day, so please don't hesitate to sign up to their program.
A huge shoutout to Miss Dunstan, Ms Bartlett and our groundskeeper Tim for their diligent work on Plant a Tree Day. We are very grateful to have such committed staff who are passionate about our environment and constant improvement as a school in this area. I hope the students also enjoyed their class activity to acknowledge this day.
