Hi all

Four St Louis students travelled to the Hastings Foreshore Reserve to compete in the South Metro Region Finals.  All of our students finished in the top 30 in fields of 70 plus runners.   Zane Nayna finished in the top 10 and will now compete in the Victorian State Finals.  It’s an incredible effort to win a spot in such an elite event.  Zane works hard at his distance running and has a very supportive family.  We wish him all the best at the State finals.

Last week, our Year 6s played footy, soccer, netball and t-ball in the district lightning premierships.  The winner of each event goes on to represent our district at the division level.  Our boy’s AFL9s team won their event and our girls t-ball team missed out by the narrowest of margins - they drew the grand final but lost on a countback of previous results.  Thank you to our Year 6 team of Chris, Sue, Lou, Raelene, George, Eva, Donna, Thomas and Kellie for their support of the winter sports season.  

All the best to the boys footy team next term (Friday 25th July) in the Kingston Division finals.
