Principal's News

All students attending St Louis de Montfort's Aspendale have

 the right to feel safe.

The care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people

is a fundamental responsibility of all within our school.

St Louis de Montfort is Celebrating 60 years

What a wonderful week we’ve had at St Louis! I’m delighted to share some highlights and upcoming events with our school community.

Year 6 Camp Success!

Our Year 6 students recently returned from their camp at Golden Valley Hastings. The venue was fantastic — providing a perfect mix of adventure and comfort. The students couldn’t stop talking about the delicious food, which they described as “really good,” and their behaviour was simply outstanding. A big thank you to our staff and camp leaders for making this experience so memorable and safe.

TheirCare Continues

TheirCare will continue to operate at Aspendale Gardens for the next two weeks. If you require care during the upcoming school holidays, bookings are now open. Please contact TheirCare directly to secure your spot. We will continue to update you in regards to the opening of MACSeye for Term 3.

Prep Celebrations

This week our Prep students had a joyous time celebrating Milo’s birthday! Many students dressed in their favourite fancy dress costumes, creating a vibrant and fun atmosphere. Giselle outdid herself with an incredible birthday cake — it was truly a masterpiece, and everyone enjoyed it immensely.

Upcoming Events Next Week

  • AFL Girls 9’s on Monday: Our talented AFL Girls 9’s team will compete next Monday, coached and managed by Miss Barnhoorn and Mr Andrew. We wish them the best of luck as they represent St Louis with pride and spirit.
  • Year 6 Confirmation Preparation: Our Year 6 candidates will participate in a Reflection Day on Wednesday. This important day gives students the opportunity to pray, reflect, and prepare their hearts for receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation next term.
  • Year 5 & 6 Spirit Evening: On Tuesday at 7 pm, all Year 5 and 6 students are invited to join us at St Brigid’s Church for our annual spirit-filled evening. We are honoured to welcome Roseanne from Christmas on the Streets, whose inspiring vision is “A world where homelessness ceases to be a reality.” We encourage as many students as possible to attend this special event.

Welcome Back, Carmel!

Carmel has returned safely from her trip to Japan and will be back with us on Monday. We’re all looking forward to hearing about her adventures!

Thank you for your continued support. We hope everyone has a fantastic week ahead and is ready to embrace our second last week of Term 2.
