Kids Helpline @ School

Recently I have come across an amazing resource through the Mental Health in Primary School's community of practice. 

The Kids Helpline is now offering free support to schools through age-appropriate online sessions that cover a range of topics, delivered through an interactive classroom. The sessions have been selected by myself, under the guidance of a mentor at the Kids Helpline, based around topics that are relevant and important to our students at IPS. Over the coming months, our students will participate in some of these sessions, with myself and their classroom teacher present as the facilitators, while an allied health professional from the Kids Helpline delivers fun and engaging content around the selected topics. 

During the next few days, students will bring home a note with further information detailing the topics that will be covered in each grade level. If you are happy for your child to participate in these sessions, you don't need to do anything further with the note. However, if you wish for your child NOT to participate in these sessions, please sign the note and send it back to me.
