Outdoor Education
Here is a little update from the Outdoor ed Classes:
The Year 9 Outdoor Ed classes have been busy over the past couple of weeks. In class we have been learning about Bush survival skills. We have learnt about the importance of shelter and used teamwork to build a number of different sized tents. Last week we learnt about food survival while in the bush and we made delicious damper as a class.
We also went on our first excursion to the Organ Pipes where we saw wallabies and explored the amazing rock formations. This week we are heading to Hanging Rock on our second excursion.
