In our previous newsletters, we looked at the Vision for reading instruction and writing instruction and explained the evidence-based practices that are derived from research and studies of the most successful teachers on how students learn. So, how does this happen? At St. Mark's, we are cognisant of using science research when making decisions about instruction, professional development and school improvement. The implementation approach is built on research-informed practices and effective professional learning models.
