Dear Families and Friends,
We've had a busy month and a busy week.
On Saturday 23rd November our wonderful school choir performed at the St Anthony's Parish Community Day. Their songs amazed the crowd and they received a large round of applause. A big thank you to Margarita and Jane for the amazing work they have done preparing our school choir.
Congratulations to our Year 5/6 students who graduated from Children's University at Swinburne on Wednesday. All of their work throughout the year certainly paid off. Thank you to Miss Lim for her work assisting these students.
On Thursday we had our Year 3/4 Camp afternoon. The children enjoyed all of the activities and loved sharing the pizzas. Thank you to our staff for organising such a wonderful afternoon.
Today we had the final Step Into Prep morning for our 2025 prep students. It has been lovely seeing them become more confident and comfortable at St Anthony's. We have enjoyed getting to know our new parents as well.
School Closure Day
We are working on finalising class numbers for 2025. If you know any families wanting to join St Anthony's please let them know that now is the time to visit the office to collect an enrolment pack.
If your family is not returning in 2025, please inform the office.
Prayer for the beginning of Advent
Almighty God, as we begin this season of Advent
We take time to remember that you are bringing us peace, to calm our spirits and hectic lives. May we turn our hearts again toward you and be instruments of your peace in the lives of others. Make us ready to receive your Son our Saviour. Slow our pace, and give us the blessing of feeling your peace in our spirits.
For we ask this in Jesus’ Name.
