CHRISTMAS MESSAGE

PETER CLIFFE (PRINCIPAL)

I am sure you have noticed Christmas trees appearing everywhere at the moment. The Christmas tree has deep-rooted symbolic significance and has been a cherished tradition for centuries.

The use of an evergreen tree, which retains its green foliage throughout the year, symbolizes eternal life. This choice of tree represents the enduring hope and the promise of eternal life we have in Christ.

The triangular shape of the tree is believed to represent the Holy Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The use of lights and ornaments symbolizes the light of Christ and the joy of the Christmas season.

The act of decorating the Christmas tree often involves the whole family, promoting a sense of togetherness and shared joy. The ornaments collected over the years may hold sentimental value and memories, reinforcing the importance of family bonds.

May this festive season bring you moments of joy, love, and peace. May it be a time of reflection, gratitude, and renewed hope for the future. As we look forward to a new year filled with promise and potential, let us continue to foster a nurturing environment where every member of our school community feels valued, supported, and inspired to reach new heights.

On behalf of the entire school, I wish you and your families a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. May the holidays be filled with warmth, laughter, and the joy of shared moments.

Two thousand years ago, "Joy to the World, the Lord has come!" was said. May those words give you meaning and joy this Christmas season.
