Learning Community 2

We are so sad we had to postpone our excursion - the weather forecast just didn't allow us to go. We will let you know as soon as we reschedule. 

We did a range of habitat and environment themed activities instead. Check out our paintings. 

In Maths these last two weeks we have revised time and the four operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division). We have all made good improvements! 

We have started reading and practising a range of plays in Reading. We have all made groups and are preparing to perform for each other. We are practising reading with expression and fluency. We are looking forward to sharing these with the rest of our class. 

In Writing we have created a range of Blackout poems. We used a different text each day to select words from to make our own poem. Have a look below! 

We were lucky enough to have Lisa visit us Thursday morning with our 'Leave Early' backpack rewards for completing our fire safety plans. She brought with her John Legione and Mitch Fraser and the Bunyip Fire truck! We all got to have a go spraying the hose. It was great fun! Thank you to Lisa for our gifts and the experience.
