Parents and Friends

Christmas & Specialist Afternoon

We are thrilled about the upcoming Christmas & Specialist Afternoon on Friday, December 6th! The event details have been posted on Compass.

P&F are contributing to the afternoon by cooking the sausage sizzle.

P&F have also arranged a special visit from Santa, who will arrive on a firetruck!

To wrap up the afternoon, show bags will be handed out to families who ordered them as part of our term 4 fundraiser at the end of the event.

Christmas Raffle

The raffle will be drawn at 5pm during the Christmas & Specialist Afternoon on Friday December 6th.

There are lots of amazing prizes up for grabs, thanks to the generous donations from local businesses, families, and sports clubs. P&F have been busy collecting and sorting the donations into incredible hampers, and they are even better than originally described! We have now received donations from 43 local businesses, families and sports clubs, with a value over $2500!

Don’t forget to return your raffle tickets to the office, along with the cash (alternatively you can pay via Eftpos) by Friday December 6th! Additional tickets will also be available to purchase at the Christmas & Specialist Afternoon, so don’t miss your chance to win these amazing prizes.

We’d love families to purchase as many as they would like, and even share them with neighbours and friends.

Please see below for the donations we have already received, but please know there are still more fantastic prizes on the way!!!!

Christmas Carnival

The Bunyip Christmas Carnival is on Sunday, December 8th from 9am-1pm, alongside the Bunyip Community Christmas Market. Volunteers from Bunyip Primary School will be having a stall there. Bunyip Primary School will be cooking the Christmas Carnival sausage sizzle (which is separate from the Market's BBQ) until 11.30am to help fundraise for our school.  The food for the sausage sizzle has been generously provided by King Legal Group and Bunyip IGA.

Thank you to the parents and family members who have offered to volunteer on the day!

Bunyip Primary School's Glee Club will also be performing at the Christmas Carnival from about 9am-11am.

Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club continues to run successfully on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8.30am, thanks to our wonderful parent helpers. However, we always need more hands to keep it going. If you’re interested in helping, especially with next year in mind, please feel free to drop by and see how it works.

And don’t forget—the free food table in the Breakfast Club room is always stocked for families to use, no questions asked. Whether you’re dealing with a sick kid at home or just need a helping hand, the food is there for everyone in our school community to access. There is lots of new foods at the moment, too; including unions, pasta, flours, luquid stock and toothpaste.

Final Parents and Friends Meeting

Our final meeting for the year will be held at Sherwood Park on Friday, December 13th, at 1pm. This is a relaxed, social gathering where you can meet other parents and enjoy a meal and a chat. There won’t be much official talk—just a chance to connect and unwind.

Please RSVP to the office, if possible, so that we can let Sherwood Park know approximate numbers. However, we’ll ensure there are some spare seats available for those who decide to join us last minute.
