Thank you - St Augustine's Day Cupcakes
We extend a huge thank you to families who generously donated over 800 cupcakes for our students and staff to share on St Augustine's Day yesterday. As usual, we were treated to a deliciously colourful selection of cupcakes as part of our celebrations.
Scholastic Book Club Issue 6 closes today
A reminder that Issue 6 Scholastic Book Club orders close today, Friday 29th August.
Thank you to the families who support us by purchasing books. Don’t forget every book you order earns us points to buy new resources for our College Library.
Years 7-12 Athletics Carnival - rescheduled to Monday, 1st September
Due to inclement weather, our Years 7-12 Athletics Carnival has been rescheduled to next Monday, 1st September.
Families are invited to come along and support their children on the day.

Subject Teacher Conversations - Tuesday 2nd September - Bookings close today
Our Semester 2 Subject Teacher Conversations will be taking place next Tuesday, 2nd September (Week 7). Bookings are now open via PAM and will close today, Friday 29th August, at 3.30pm. If you wish to book a double session, please contact your child’s TA who will be able to do this for you.
A reminder that we will be showing Surviving Study, a Jared Cooney Horvath video, for VCE students and families in the POP Auditorium at 1.00pm on the day.
Please note: Tuesday will be a student-free day, however students are encouraged to attend the conversations with their parent/caregiver.
Lone Pine Ceremony - Wednesday 3rd September
Families are invited to attend our College Lone Pine Ceremony at 10.00am next Wednesday, 3rd September.
Students from Years 5 and 6 will be attending the Ceremony.
Beaut Blokes Breakfast and Sports Colours Day
Our Beaut Blokes Breakfast is on next Thursday, 4th September. This is always a popular event on the College Calendar and a chance for our students to dress in the colours of their favourite footy or sports team and bring their Beaut Blokes to school.
Breakfast will be available from 7.45am with our Liturgy beginning in the Church at 9.00am followed by classroom visits with our F-4 students.

ORIMA Survey – Parent Feedback
A reminder that the ORIMA parent survey is now open. This is an excellent opportunity for families to provide constructive and positive feedback about our College. Your input helps us continue to grow and strengthen our school community. As a fun incentive, those who complete the survey and send us a photo of the confirmation page will go in the draw to win a prize (please see Operoo for details).
Production: Shrek The Musical JR. - book your tickets now
The excitement is building as our 5–12 Production of Shrek The Musical JR. approaches. We can’t wait to share this hilarious, heart-warming show with our school community!
Performances are on Thursday 11th and Friday 12th September at Kyabram Plaza Theatre.
Tickets are selling fast and seats for the Friday show are already very limited – so be sure to secure yours soon to avoid disappointment. Tickets are available by using the attached QR code or via trybooking.
Father's Day Stall - Friday 5th September
Our 2025 Father's Day Stall will be held next Friday morning. Primary students will have the chance to shop for the special men in their lives on this day.
Items will be priced from $1 to $7.
Please remember to bring along a reusable shopping bag for your purchases.
Volunteers needed - Father's Day Stall
We are seeking additional volunteers to assist at the stall for approximately one hour from 9.00am. If you are able to help, please contact Bec Ciavarella on 0487 777 330.
All volunteers are required to have completed the Volunteer Registration Process as outlined below.
Volunteer Registration Process
At St Augustine’s, the safety and wellbeing of our students is our highest priority. To uphold our commitment to child safety, ALL volunteers are required to review and acknowledge our Child Safe Code of Conduct, Staff & Students Professional Boundaries Policy and Photography & Video Policy and Procedures. Additionally, volunteers must complete a Volunteer Registration form and successfully complete the CESL School Volunteer Induction before commencing their role as a volunteer.
We deeply value the contributions of our volunteers and appreciate your support in maintaining a culture of care and protection. Together, we can continue to provide a safe and nurturing space for every child to thrive.

All volunteers will be asked to:
Complete a Volunteer Registration form (including personal details, Working with Children Check (WWCC) and two personal referees), please inform your referees they will be contacted by the school in relation to your volunteering.
Once you have completed the Volunteer Registration form and are approved to volunteer at the school, you will be sent an email with a link to access the required training:

CESL School Volunteer Induction; and
Read and acknowledge the Child Safe Code of Conduct, Staff & Students Professional Boundaries Policy and Photography & Video Policy and Procedures.
All volunteers will be required to update details at the start of each year and inform the school of any changes to your circumstances or updates to your WWCC. All volunteers will need to complete the CESL School Volunteer Induction and read and acknowledge all relevant safeguarding policies at the start of each school year even if an existing volunteer.
All information received regarding volunteering and providing referee details will be maintained in line with CESL Privacy Policy.
It Takes a Village – Raising Kids in a Digital World
The event will take place on Wednesday 10th September from 7–9pm at the Moama Bowling Club. Tickets are $15 and can be booked via the QR code on the attached flyer.
This evening will feature keynote speaker Dr Justin Coulson, along with an expert panel, discussing digital wellbeing, youth mental health and the impact of social media and smartphones on children and teens.
Australian Catholic Youth Festival
Calling all Years 9, 10 and 11 students.
We have an amazing opportunity to attend the Australian Catholic Youth Festival 2025 in Melbourne from 29th November - 3rd December. End of Term Assemblies
